Scientific research is one of the key elements in improving care and health systems, especially in the implementation of digital health innovations. For doctors and specialists in training, research is an opportunity to enhance their knowledge and career prospects.
Conducting scientific research is not (yet) embedded in the training of medical professionals in Kyrgyzstan. Through a jointly developed training programme, the World eHealth Living Lab and the Medical University of Kyrgyzstan aim to provide young researchers with the opportunity to become proficient in research techniques.
To facilitate this, a free, blended learning programme will be jointly designed and delivered to young researchers through the WeLL Academy.
Over a total of 8 months, the course will be delivered through a mixture of online lectures, self-study assignments and group work. Each month will have a specific theme and the themes will build on each other, eventually leading to a well-founded research question and a first draft of a research plan.
During the international conference in April, participating researchers will have the opportunity to give a final presentation.
Program will follow soon
